Shirley Eat More Sunshine is takeout only spot that makes some really unique sandwiches. The owner is doing it all from making fresh bread daily to carefully assembling each order. She’s using seasonal ingredients that are locally sourced. The menu is always changing, and the sandwiches are so fresh.
Fresh in South Boston makes such a solid sandwich. They make most of them on their delicious house-made focaccia. They level up classic sandwiches and have creative specials like the pigs gone wild with slow roasted pork, fennel and apple slaw, truffle honey aioli.
Pastoral is a restaurant in seaport that has a sub poup shop, they bake their house-made sesame seed rolls daily in the pizza oven. They have your classics like the Italian, the steak and cheese and the classic turkey.
A little west of Boston is Gather Provisions. They’re making everything from scratch and the sandwiches are made to order. We really loved their house made spreads like the herb cheese spread on the goss roast chicken sandwich. They’ve also got sandwich specials like the steak and cheese which was next level.
